Come and See (2019) เอหิปัสสิโก [Full-HD]

The documentary film “Ehipasico” was filmed in 2017 when Phra Trethammachyo, the former abbot of Phra Dhammakaya Temple, was accused of involvement in the embezzlement case of the Klong Chan Credit Union. There was an incident where government officials surrounded the temple to arrest Dhammachayo for prosecution. This caused a conflict between the temple’s disciples who came out against the arrest and the government who said it was following the judicial process. The audience will be objectively explored through interviews with supporters and opponents, as well as interviews with scholars who have observed the phenomenon that has occurred, reflecting the foundation of beliefs and faith, and finding answers to the role of religion and belief in Thai society.
